Superstars Result - January 14th
Yoshi Tatsu, Primo, David Hart Smith and Darren Young vs. The Usos, William Regal and Zack Ryder
Darren Young lost the wacky hair he had. Primo and Regal to kick things off. Primo uses his speed with arm drags and dropkicks. Regal says fuck this and Jimmy tags in. Boots by Primo, headlock applied. Off the ropes, Jimmy with the knee to the gut, but arm drags by Primo slow down Jimmy. Tag to Yoshi, in with chops. Japanese arm drag, not profiling, tag to Young and a northern lights suplex for 2. Ryder tags in, boots from Young take him to the mat. Smith tags in now, lays the boots to Ryder and then uses uppercuts. Smith works the arm, takes him down and applies an arm bar. Ryder to his feet, takes Smith to the corner, knees land. To the heel corner, tag into Regal and they stiff the piss out of each other with uppercuts. Smith now wants a suplex, but Regal tags out to Ryder. Smith takes control, powerbomb to Ryder. Smith now gets the stalling suplex, brews some tea, eats a scone, and then drops him down. Smith covers for 2. Smith works the arm now, to the corner, a whip and Ryder avoids the charge, tag to Jey Uso and he uses rights to drop Smith and covers for 2. Jimmy tags in, maybe Jey, who the hell knows. Tag back to Ryder after a short beatdown, Smith tries a suplex, jackhammer lands. Smith wipes out the heels, powerslam try, but an Uso clips the knee and Ryder drops the knee and takes control. Woo WOO woo, you know it. Commercial break @ 6:00.

Back from commercial @ 9:00 as Smith tries to battle back against Jey Uso. To the corner, splash misses for Jey and Smith fires away with uppercuts. Tag to Young, rights to Jey and an elbow drop gets 2. Chops to Jey, off the ropes and a shoulder block to Jey and a cover for 2. Young pulls down the ropes as Jey charges in, Young to the apron and gets his leg clipped. Jey rolls him back in and covers for 2. Regal tags in and does what he does best, make Darren Young his bitch. Kicks to the face, Regal backs off as the ref admonishes him, and the Usos choke Young out. More stiff shots to Young, kicks from Ryder, who tags in and lays in some forearm shots now. Face wash by Ryder in the corner, and a cover gets 2. Young tries to fire up, boots, arm drag and looks for the tag. Enziguri to Ryder and finally a tag to Primo. House of fire, things break down, dropkicks, rights, takes heels out, leg sweep and a cover for 2 on Ryder. Tornado DDT by Primo gets 2 as everyone is in the ring. IT'S PANDALERIUM~! Yoshi in, kicks Ryder in the back of the head and that is all.

Fun tag match to end the show. Sure it's full of guys that have jack and shit to do, but they went out there, put on a basic and fun tag match, that's all I ask.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Yoshi Tatsu, Primo, David Hart Smith and Darren Young via Pin

*Zach Ryder won a 12 Man "Big Apple" Battle Royal to earn a title shot against United States champion Daniel Bryan later tonight. In the match were DH Smith, Santino Marella, Alex Riley wore a Miami Heat jersey to get heat. Huge "Santino' chant early as everyone fought. In the end, Nexus teamed to work over Marella and after several hope spots, they knocked him to the floor. It came down to Nexus vs. Henry as Ryder hid outside the ring. Henry tossed Michael McGuillicuty and Ryder returned to shove Henry and Otunga over as they battled. Pretty standard stuff but denying us Regal vs. Bryan is criminal!

Order of elimination was Darren Young, Primo, Vladimir Kozlov, Yoshi Tatsu, Alex Riley, DH Smith, William Regal, Santino Marella, Michael McGuillicuty, Mark Henry and David Otunga.

John Cena def. Darren Young

A perfect record hung heavy on the shoulders of Darren Young. Each of his teammates from The Nexus had been victorious in their matches against Team WWE members. Now it was his turn. His obstacle, however, would prove particularly momentous. Young must face Team WWE’s de facto leader and the man who severely beat him down last month, John Cena.

Also weighing heavy on Young was the fact that were he to lose, he would be banished from The Nexus. With that in mind, the bout underwent a series of momentum shifts until, finally, Cena asserted his imposing will. The force of such a powerhouse was too much for Young to bear as he faded in defeat.

In the aftermath, The Nexus approached the ring. Although Cena prepared himself for the worst, his tormentors allowed him to leave unharmed. Instead, they circled their true target: Young. After punishing their only failed member, the remaining six members of The Nexus stood tall.

Changed line-ups for this weekends House Shows
WWE is changing up the Raw brand's house show line-up for a three-show tour of Florida this weekend. The two headline matches will reflect the main events of Summerslam on August 15.

The advertised main event on the Florida tour is WWE champion Sheamus vs. Randy Orton in a preview of their WWE Title match. Last weekend in Texas, Sheamus was matched up against John Cena.

This weekend, John Cena is part of a Team Cena vs. Team Nexus Summerslam preview match. Cena is advertised for a six-man tag match with Chris Jericho and John Morrison vs. three members of Nexus.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Not even the impassable, entwined metal of a steel cage could keep The Nexus from interfering. The sadistic structure was meant to prevent the seven deadly sinners from involving themselves in the Steel Cage Match pitting WWE Champion Sheamus against John Cena, but the rebel group still foiled Cena’s destiny as WWE Champ and allowed The Celtic Warrior to retain.

Toward the conclusion of the bout, The Nexus began to surround the ring. But before they could enter the cage, a quick thinking referee stole the bolt cutters they brought while another ref hurled the key to the cage into the audience. While this development denied Nexus entry into the structure, it also narrowed the options of the two combatants.

In the heat of battle within the cage, the match referee was knocked out cold. The absence of a ref would prove critical to Cena, who forced his opponent to tap out. Sadly, the tap would not count since it was not officially recognized.

As a result, Cena ascended up the cage walls. The Nexus, however, eagerly awaited him on the outside of the sadistic structure. While tending to their preferred target, Cena, the band of bothers mostly took their eyes off the WWE Champion, who quickly began scaling the opposite side of the cage.

After climbing the metal behemoth, Cena began his descent and attempted to drop to the floor for the win. Unfortunately for him, The Nexus were there en masse to stop him, preventing his sneakers from reaching the floor. As Cena struggled to touch terra firma, The Celtic Warrior surpassed him, having scrambled down the steel entrapment on the other side and placed his boots squarely on the ground. There was no time to celebrate, however, since Nexus chased him off in the wake of his victory. While the Irishman beat a hasty retreat, his rival stuck around to punish several members of Nexus.

Despite Cena’s best efforts, The Nexus had once again thwarted his aspirations and deprived him of the WWE Championship. And once again, Sheamus was there to reap the rewards.

During “truce” handshake, John Cena retaliated against Wade Barrett and The Nexus; mystery GM arranged Cena vs. The Nexus in 7-on-1 Handicap Match next week

John Cena is nothing if not a man of his word. That being the case, the seven-time WWE Champion showed up in the ring, as ordered by Raw’s mystery GM, to commence a truce ceremony with The Nexus’s de facto leader, Wade Barrett. While the Brit tried to assure his rival that his group’s attacks weren’t personal, Cena remained understandably skeptical.

But Barrett offered his hand to seal the truce, and Cena finally accepted. When The Nexus boss attempted to pull away, however, he quickly found himself angling for an Attitude Adjustment. Before Cena could lower the guillotine, though, he was attacked by The Nexus’ remaining six members. Just then, Cena’s pals rolled in for the rescue, including Mark Henry, David Hart Smith, Tyson Kidd, John Morrison, Evan Bourne, Goldust, Yoshi Tatsu, Santino Marella, Vladimir Kozlov and The Great Khali.

The Nexus escaped, though, except for Darren Young, who suffered an STF at the hands of Cena. As a means of punishment, the mystery GM is forcing Cena to face The Nexus next week in a 7-on-1 Handicap Match.

The Nexus attacked Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and other WWE Legends

Is nothing sacred? WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat had taken to the ring to address the WWE Universe regarding his new DVD retrospective, Ricky Steamboat: The Life Story of The Dragon, when he was joined by fellow WWE Legends, who heaped praise on their friend and former colleague. That’s when the unthinkable happened.

With orders not to touch any active Superstars, The Nexus circled the ring and plucked the esteemed Legends, including Arn Anderson, Michael Hayes, Mike Rotundo, Dean Malenko and Jerry Lawler, from within, punishing them outside the ring. Finally, the group of six leader Wade Barrett was conferencing with WWE officials to learn the fate of he and his group entered the squared circle and surrounded Steamboat before reigning blows down upon him. The Nexus defined by a group of connected beings, as described by Cole continues to demonstrate their defiance and sedition.

NXT Rookies attempted an attack on WWE Champion John Cena
One week after suffering a despicable attack at the hands of the NXT Rookies, WWE Champion John Cena proved that you can’t keep a good man down. Despite the beating, The Champ came to the ring to address the NXT Rookies. During his speech, Cena became distracted by the NXT Rookies, who jumped a security barrier. Wade Barrett, Heath Slater, Darren Young, Skip Sheffield, Michael Tarver and David Otunga headed for the parking lot, however, after Cena was joined by Jerry Lawler, R-Truth, Randy Orton, Mark Henry, Santino Marella, Evan Bourne, William Regal, Sheamus and Edge.

WWE Champion John Cena & Randy Orton vs. Edge & Sheamus ended in a No Contest

Just six days before the four clash in a Fatal 4-Way WWE Championship Match, WWE Champion John Cena paired with Randy Orton to take on Edge & Sheamus. With the entire Raw roster looking on from the entrance ramp to prevent another ambush from the NXT Rookies, the four Superstars, who will battle for the title on Sunday, tore into one another in a prelude to Fatal 4-Way.

Their match was cut short, however, when it was realized that the NXT Rookies had accosted Raw General Manager Bret Hart and dragged him into the parking lot. Once there, the Rookies, led by NXT winner Wade Barrett, tossed the WWE Hall of Famer into the back of a limo and ordered the driver to smash the auto into walls and other cars. The sadistic Rookies then harassed a defenseless Hart, pressuring him to offer them all WWE contracts. When Hart refused, the Rookies agreed that they would give him until Sunday’s pay-per-view to think about it. But will Hart be in any condition to respond? If so, will he concede and sign all of the NXT season one rookies to contracts? Stay tuned.

WWE Champion John Cena vs. CM Punk Viewer's Choice Match ended in a No Contest

The WWE Universe chose CM Punk to face WWE Champion John Cena in the night's main event. Although Cena was gaining the upper hand against the masked leader of the Straight Edge Society, the match was cut short when last season’s NXT Rookies led by season one winner Wade Barrett charged the ring and laid waste to everything and everyone in sight. Following the mayhem, a battered Cena was carted out on a stretcher.
