We head to the Impact Zone as Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring to address the crowd, telling us that he came out here to speak with the Jarretts in peace and put their heat behind them. Instead, the Jarretts decided to dig at Kurt’s wounds and make it personal even though he didn’t want to go down that road. Angle said he’d retire if he lost at Bound For Glory and he hasn’t wrestled since, but Jeff Jarrett’s forcing his hand and making him do what a man has to do. Angle is the best in the world and when he comes to a crossroads, he looks to the fans because they’re the best in the world, and he wants to know how many of them want to see Kurt Angle in the ring one more time to beat the living (beep) out of Jeff Jarrett? Kurt Angle is a new dad after the 42-year-old wrestler and fiancé Giovanna Yannotti welcomed a baby girl in Pittsburgh.

The child, named Giuliana Marie Angle, weighed in at 5.5 pounds and was 18 inches long.

Angle arrived home from Lyon, France on Saturday night, where he was on tour with TNA, after receiving a call that Yannotti, 25, had been rushed into hospital with high blood pressure which had caused her to pass out.

Due to her medical condition, and concern for the baby, doctors decided to induce labor.

Baby is said to be healthy and doing well while Yannotti is still being treated for high blood pressure as doctor’s monitor her condition.

Giuliana is Angle’s third child. He has two from a previous marriage to Karen Jarrett, wife of Jeff Jarrett.

“To my fans, especially in Europe. Sorry I had to pull from the tour. Giovanna, my fiancé, had complications with her labor. I came home to be with her and my beautiful new daughter Giuliana is doing fantastic,” Angle wrote on Twitter.

“I will be staying at the hospital until Giovanna is able to leave. She won’t be able to leave until the doctors clear her condition. Thank you all for your support. And to my kids Kyra and Kody, Giuliana sends her love. Your little sister looks like her big sister, Kyra. I love you both and miss you dearly..”

He added: “A big thank you to Dixie Carter and TNA for allowing me to come home to be with my family. God bless.”

Kurt Angle rushed back to Pittsburgh from the European tour last night when he got a phone call that his pregnant fiancé, actress Giovanna Yannotti, had been rushed to the hospital with extremely high blood pressure and passed out. The doctors felt it necessary to induce labor and she gave birth to Giuliana Marie Angle, a 5.5 pound 18 inch long baby. The baby is said to be doing well, although she is about three weeks premature. At last word, the mother was still in intensive care with doctors today attempting to get her blood pressure under control. (thanks to Mike Aldren)

The show opened with a recap video that focused on the Kurt Angle, Jeff Jarrett, and Karen Jarrett drama… The show is called “Dirty Laundry”… Kurt Angle arrived at the building in his car. He walked to the backstage area and told the production staff (which included Jimmy Hart) that he wanted his music played.

The production crew complied and Angle headed to the ring as Mike Tenay and Taz checked in on commentary. Angle said that he wanted to set the record straight before Jeff and Karen came out and delivered lies and mistruths. He said the heat is between him and Jeff.

Kurt said he went to management and said Karen would be a great asset. However, he said Karen was standing by Jeff whenever he turned his head. Kurt said Jeff made it personal by rubbing it in his face. Angle said neither one of them could take away his character. The fans cheered.

Angle teared up as he said he was a great husband and an incredible father. He said that if he’s guilty of anything, it’s not spending enough time with his family. He said that’s only because he wanted to give his family everything they dreamed of having. The fans chanted “Angle” as he regained his composure.
